The Parish Council now operates a Book Swap out of the Parish Room in South Mimms Village Hall. The idea is that you bring in books you have read and take home something new to try. It is all free and is essentially a community library that we can all add to. You can keep the books as long as you want.
We have lots of children’s books, teen books, crime, romance you name it! All thanks to the generosity of residents. All the books are sorted by genre to help you look for your new favorite read. We also have some puzzles you can borrow.
Book Swap is open for teas, coffees, squash and (most importantly!) cake on the 3rd Friday of each month (except August) from 2pm-4pm. We would love to see parents and children pre/post school run, all bookworms and anyone that would just like a chat and to meet others in the community.
